When most or all of the teeth in an arch are failing, patching one tooth at a time stops making sense. Full-arch implant treatment — often called All-on-4 or All-on-X — replaces the whole upper or lower arch with a fixed bridge anchored on four to six implants. It does not come out at night, it does not slip, and you chew with it like teeth.
It is also a serious procedure with real trade-offs, and you deserve a straight explanation of both sides before anyone shows you a brochure.

Our honest take on who it is NOT for
Full-arch is not automatically the answer — and neither is saving every tooth. Whether a tooth is worth keeping depends on the whole arch, not just whether it can technically be saved: sometimes holding onto a few compromised teeth undermines the result, and a planned full arch is the more predictable, longer-lasting choice; other times you have enough genuinely healthy teeth that we would rather build around them. You will get our honest read on which is true for you. If your health or habits (uncontrolled diabetes, heavy smoking you will not pause) make implant failure likely, we address that first. And if a well-made conventional or implant-supported denture fits your goals and budget better, you will hear that from us at the consult, not after treatment.
A note from Dr. Dillon
The hardest part of a full-arch decision usually isn’t the surgery — it’s deciding which teeth to keep and which to let go. A tooth can be technically saveable and still be the wrong thing to save, if holding onto it means a weaker, less predictable result for the whole arch. Other times a few solid teeth change the plan entirely, and we build around them.
My job is to make that call with you honestly — with a 3D scan in front of us and no reason to talk you into more than you need. If a denture or a smaller fix is genuinely the better value for your goals, you’ll hear that from me too.

How it works here
Dr. Dillon plans every full-arch case on a CBCT 3D scan before anything happens in your mouth — implant positions, bone, nerves, sinuses, and the final teeth are worked out digitally first. Placement is guided, in our Coral Springs office, with sedation available. Dr. Dillon and Dr. Shantall plan complex cases together: two doctors, one plan, and the same two people at every visit.
What drives the cost
Full-arch treatment is a significant investment, and the number varies genuinely from case to case: how many implants your bone supports, whether extractions or grafting come first, the provisional teeth you wear while healing, and the material of the final bridge. What is the difference between All-on-4 and All-on-X?
“All-on-4” is a specific four-implant approach; “All-on-X” means the number of implants (four, five, six) is chosen to fit your bone and bite rather than a brand name. We plan the number around your anatomy, not a slogan.
How long do full-arch implants take from start to finish?
Typically the implants and a fixed provisional bridge are placed first; the final bridge follows after healing, usually a few months later. Some cases qualify for teeth the same day as surgery — we will tell you honestly at the consult whether yours does.
Is full-arch treatment painful?
Most patients report it is far more manageable than they feared. Cases are 3D-planned, placement is guided, and sedation is available. Expect swelling and soreness for a few days, managed with medication.
How much does All-on-X cost in Coral Springs?
