Why we started MSD
Why we opened our own office
Before MSD, we were colleagues having the same conversation: the dentistry we trained for was getting crowded out by volume targets and billing codes. The part that matters — solving the problem underneath, and giving people a calm enough room to make a decision — kept getting less time.

So we built a practice around the people we treat. The two of us make every decision about your care, together, based on what’s right for you.

Two dentists who plan your care together
We’re equal partners with complementary strengths. Dr. Dillon rebuilds and restores teeth; Dr. Shantall focuses on prevention and alignment. On anything significant, we plan it together — two experienced perspectives, one recommendation. Both of us have pursued advanced training at the Kois Center.

No single dentist has every answer. We’ve built relationships with specialists across South Florida whose work we trust, and when a case calls for one, we review the records together, discuss the options, and stay involved from start to finish. You keep a dental home that knows you.

Community
Part of North Broward
We care for neighbors throughout North Broward — Coral Springs, Parkland, Coconut Creek, Margate, Tamarac, and beyond — in English and Spanish. Outside the office, we volunteer weekly with the Humane Society of Broward County, and we schedule 200+ hours of community service into each year.

Dr. Matthew Dillon and Dr. Shantall Di Loreto, equal partners who practice side by side in Coral Springs. Both are treating dentists here.
What does “MSD” stand for — is it related to the high school in Parkland?
No — “MSD” comes from our own initials: Dr. Matthew Dillon and Dr. Shantall Di Loreto. The shared initials with the Parkland high school weren’t top of mind when we named the practice; people kindly pointed it out to us after we’d opened. We have a great deal of respect for that school and community, and we hope our name isn’t a source of confusion — it simply reflects the two doctors behind the practice.
