What to expect at your first visit
We know a first visit to a new dentist can be a little nerve-wracking, so here’s exactly what to expect:
- We start with a conversation about your concerns and goals.
- We take any necessary digital imaging and photographs.
- Dr. Dillon completes a comprehensive examination.
- We review what we found together.
- We discuss treatment options, timing, and costs.
- You leave with a clear understanding of your oral health and next steps.
No pressure. No surprises. No rushed decisions.
Our new-patient promise
If we don’t make your options clear, your first visit is on us.
If, after your first visit, you feel we didn’t listen to your concerns, answer your questions, or give you a clear understanding of your dental health, tell us before you leave and we’ll refund your new-patient visit fee.
What to bring
- A photo ID and your insurance card, if you have one
- A list of any medications you take
- Any questions you’ve been meaning to ask a dentist

Are you accepting new patients?
Yes — we’re glad to welcome new patients. You can book online or call or text us at 754-240-4820.
Do you take my insurance?
We work with many PPO plans. Tell us your plan and we’ll check your benefits for you. No insurance? Ask about our membership plan.
What if I’m anxious about the dentist?
You’re in good company. We move at your pace and offer comfort options, including nitrous oxide and oral sedation.
Will I be pressured into treatment?
No. You’ll never be rushed or talked into anything. If you don’t need treatment, we’ll tell you so.

Sí — Dr. Shantall and our team care for patients in English and Spanish.
Can I get a crown in one visit?
Often, yes. We design and mill many crowns in-office the same day.
Do you see children?
