The promise
We respond to every attorney inquiry within 1 business day.
After a traumatic accident, your client deserves a trusted, qualified clinician who treats them with discretion and priority — and your office deserves a practice that is just as easy to reach. Every message that reaches Dr. Dillon — by email, or by phone through our office — gets a real answer within 1 business day: whether we can take the case, when we can see the client, and what the plan looks like. No chasing, no waiting a week for records.
Send us a case Or call or text 754-240-4820The LOP process, in five steps
1. Send the case over. Email Dr. Dillon or call our office with the client's name and a brief description of what happened. We confirm receipt within 1 business day, tell you whether it is a fit, and send intake and LOP paperwork to your office.
2. Comprehensive exam and imaging. We see the client promptly and complete a thorough exam with full digital X-rays, CBCT 3D imaging, and intraoral photographs. Everything is documented and time-stamped so the record is clear from day one.
3. Itemized plan and narrative. You receive a written treatment plan with CDT codes and fees, plus a plain-language narrative connecting the clinical findings to the reported injury. It is built to sit in your file and stand up to review.
4. Treatment under the signed LOP. Once the LOP is executed, we complete care. No payment is sought from your client while the case is pending — the balance is protected by the letter until settlement.
5. Settlement documentation and billing. At the close of care we deliver final records, before-and-after imaging, and an itemized statement ready for settlement. We respond promptly to balance and lien requests, and handle reductions professionally when the settlement warrants it.
Who handles your cases
Dr. Matthew Dillon, DDS, MAGD, FICOI, personally oversees every Letter of Protection case — the exam, the plan, and the narrative report all carry his review and signature. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Florida, earned his DDS at NYU College of Dentistry, then pursued advanced training at the Kois Center. He holds a Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD) and a Fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI).
His clinical focus — implants, crowns, and full-mouth restoration — is squarely what dental trauma cases require: replacing knocked-out or fractured teeth, rebuilding damaged restorations, and restoring a bite after an accident. Cases are planned in 3D, explained clearly, and documented in a way that a paralegal, an adjuster, or opposing counsel can follow. If a finding needs clarifying for the file, Dr. Dillon is reachable directly to explain it.
What's in the documentation packet
Every case file we send back to your office is built to the same standard, so your team knows exactly what to expect:

- An itemized treatment plan with CDT procedure codes and fees.
- A written narrative report connecting the clinical findings to the reported mechanism of injury, in plain clinical language.
- Final records at completion — progress notes, before-and-after imaging, and an itemized statement for settlement.
